West-Siberian railway dispatched over 170 million tonnes of cargo in 8M07

In January-August, 2007, West-Siberian railway dispatched over 170 million tonnes of cargo, the railway’s PR department reports. In the reported period loading of coal grew by 1.5% to 120 million tonnes; ore – by 1.9%) to 6.460 million tonnes; fertilizers – by 13.3% to 1.245 million tonnes; chemicals – by 6.8% to 2.233.6 million tonnes, cement – by 24.3% to 2.709.2 million tonnes; timber – by 13.7% to  1,5 million tonnes, grain - by 44.3% to 783,200 tonnes.
