Gazprom Neft's oil production stood at 32.7m tonnes in 2007, virutally unchanged from the previous year, the Russian oil producer's press office reported according to RBC. A total of 521 new wells were put into operation in 2007, 97 wells more than in 2006, with additional output from these wells amounting to 4.3m tonnes at a well yield of over 54 tonnes per day.
The company's 2D seismic exploration operations stood at 1,867 linear kilometers, with 3D operations amounting to 992 square kilometers. Drilling operations reached 59,000 meters, with construction completed at 10 wells. As of December 31, 2007, the well count stood at 5,008 wells, which is 376 wells more than at the end of 2006.
