Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has ordered to set up a committee for liquidation of state port concern UkrMorPort, proUA refers to the Government Decree dated February 22. Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Igor Urbanski will head the Committee.
The Head is to approve the membership and to ensure concern liquidation activities. The liquidation balance sheet and report on concern operation is to be provided to the Cabinet of Ministers within three months.
It should be reminded that the Cabinet canceled its order No 594 dated November 30, 2006 on establishment of UkrMorPort concern.
In August Yushchenko canceled the Cabinet’s order on establishment of UkrMorPort which comprised 20 seaports. According to the President, such a concern could weaken state control of seaports’ activities.
