Russian Ministry of Finance is proposing an average fivefold hike of tax rate for watercrafts with engines power rated over 150 hp, boats and yachts with more than 300 hp, the draft "Guidelines for the Tax Policy of the Russian Federation for 2013 and the planning period 2014-2015."
The higher rates are proposed to be applied to vehicles manufactured after 2000.
