In January-February 2008, foreign trade of the Russian Federation grew by 52.7%, year-on-year, to $102.3, Russia’s Federal Tax Service reports. Foreign trade with non-CIS states totaled $87.4 billion (+54.6%), with CIS states – $14.9 billion (+42.8 %). In the reported period export grew by 54.3% to $69.1 billion including $59 billion to non-CIS states (+54.4%) and $10.1 billion to CIS states (+53.6 %). Import grew by 49.5% to $33.3 billion including $28.5 billion from non-CIS states (+54.8 %) and $4.8 billion from CIS states (+24.4%).
