RF Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed a resolution On Certain Issues of the Activities of the RF Transport Ministry in compliance with the Decree of the RF President Issues of System and Structure of the Federal Executive Authorities. According to the Government’s press center, the resolution No 399 dated May 28, 2008 introduces amendments into the Government’s previous resolutions.
According to the latest resolution, the staff of the Transport Ministry’s headquarters is limited by 532 persons (excluding security and building maintenance personnel).
The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is a federal public authority, which realizes state policy and carries out management of the transport complex, and also coordinates activities of other federal public authorities in this sphere within the limits established by legislation of the Russian Federation.
