RF Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed a resolution On the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in compliance with the Decree of the RF President Issues of System and Structure of the Federal Executive Authorities. According to the Government’s press center, the resolution introduces amendments into the Government’s previous resolutions.
The resolution allows the Minister of Energy to have six deputies including one State Secretary. The central office may comprise 12 departments.
According to the latest resolution, the staff of the Transport Ministry’s headquarters is limited by 464 persons (excluding security and building maintenance personnel); the staff of local agencies - 88 persons (excluding security and building maintenance personnel).
The Ministry of Economic development and the Ministry of Energy are to furnish joint proposal on location of the Ministry of Energy in Moscow.
Within a 2-month period, the Ministry of Energy is to make a proposal on the list of organizations subordinate to the Ministry.
