Gazpromneft Marine Bunker LLC has concluded a contract on supply of bunker fuel to cruise liners in the port of St. Petersburg. Total volume to be supplied in June 2008 is to make 25,000 tonnes of heavy fuel oil and 4,000 tonnes of diesel fuel, press center of Gazpromneft OJSC reports.
In April 2008 Gazpromneft Marine Bunker started supply of bunker fuel to the port of Kaliningrad. By the end of the current year the company plans to occupy 40% of Kaliningrad bunkering market. As of today, Gazpromneft Marine Bunker supplies bunker fuel through application of the rented facilities of Kaliningrad sea fishing port: terminals and bunkering tankers.
In May 2008, Gazpromneft Marine Bunker started its activities in river ports of Yaroslavl, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don as well as in the port of Murmansk. Till the end of navigation 2008, Gazpromneft Marine Bunker plans to occupy 10% of the bunkering market of Volga and Don rivers, by the end of 2008 – 20% of Murmansk bunkering market.
In the first quarter of the current year, the company sold 121,000 tonnes of bunker fuel in the ports of the Far East and the North-west of Russia.
Gazpromneft Marine Bunker LLC is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft OJSC specializing in supply of bunker fuel. In February 2008 the company entered Russian Association of Marine and River Bunker Suppliers.
