The Bid Evaluation Committee has opened the Bids for the right to close the Concession Agreement today in relation to Western High-Speed Diameter (WHSD).
There was only one bid – that of the consortium – ZSD Nevsky Meridian LLC (registered in St. Petersburg). Yhe consortium includes Strabag A.G., Bouygues Travaux Publics, Hochtief PPP Solutions, Egis Projects, Mostoodryad No 19 OJSC and Basic Element Holding.
The project is valued at RUR 175.8 billion in current prices with final value to make RUR 212 billion (considering inflation) by the end of construction in 2012.
The results are to be made on June 7 and finally announced on June 10.
Initially there were four bidders: MLA Lieferasphalt GmbH (consortium including: ALPINE Mayreder Bau GmbH, FCC-Construccion S.A., Deutsche Bank AG); ZSD Nevsky Meridian LLC (Strabag A.G., Bouygues Travaux Publics, Hochtief PPP Solutions, Egis Projects, Mostoodryad No 19 OJSC); "Vincida Grupo de Inversiones 2006, S.L." (Obrascon Huantre Lain, S.A. (OHL), OHL Concesiones S.L.); "St. Petersburg High-Speed Thoroughfare B.V." (Bechtel International Inc, Enka Holding, Intertoll Infrastructure Developments).
