The leakage of chemical agents in China poses no threat to people living in Russia’s Far East, chief press officer of the Far East regional emergencies center Olga Alkina told Itar-Tass on Friday.
Blagoveshchensk is the nearest Russian settlement from the presumed man-made disaster area 500 kilometers far away. “It is a quite big distance,” Alkina said.
