In January-May, 2008, Vostochny Port OJSC handled 6.357.6 million tonnes (-1.5%, year-on-year), the company’s PR Department informs. In the reported period, Specialized Coal Terminal (PPK-3) handled 5.587.6 tonnes of coal (-7.5%, year-on-year). Universal Handling Terminal handled 769,900 tonnes (+86%).
In May the company handled 1.491 million tonnes (-2%, year-on-year) including 1.311.2 million tonnes of coal handled by Specialized Coal Terminal (-6%, year-on-year) and 179,800 tonnes of different cargo handled by Universal Handling Terminal (+43%, year-on-year).
