Today according to the schedule new PRISCO’s tanker has been launched. Tanker “Zaliv Amurskiy” which had been being built in dry dock during 6 months was undocked and moved to quay wall of HHI shipyard in order to continue other works.
This is the second vessel of the series consisting of six ships of 100 000 deadweight each. The new tanker is 1C ice class vessel according to DNV classification. “Zaliv Amerika”, the first one tanker of above-mentioned series, was introduced into operation at the end of January, 2008. Now this vessel successfully operates under the charter for oil transportation concluded with Tesoro Maritime Company. When the building of “Zaliv Amurskiy” is completed this tanker will be chartered by Tesoro Maritime Company too. It is planned to deliver new tanker to the shipowner in one and a half month. It is expected to complete the building of above-mentioned series of ships by the middle of 2009.All news
