Construction of bridge across Golden Horn Bay under special control

Construction of the bridge across the Golden Horn Bay in Vladivostok will be specially controlled, the Head of “Far-Eastern direction of Rosstroy” Nikolay ASHLAPOV announced at the press-conference on Tuesday.“If necessary we’ll make answer the general contractor “Pacific bridge-building company” for terms, assigned for construction of the bridge across the Golden Horn Bay,” he announced.According to him, management of “Far-Eastern direction of Rosstroy” cannot influence on choice of contractor, but if any questions arise, it can address to the Ministry of regional development of the Russian Federation and ask to stop financing and change the general contractor.The bridge across the Golden Horn Bay will connect the center of Vladivostok with Churkin Cape, that will allow to reduce traffic jams in central streets of Vladivostok. At present moment it is possible to get from one coast of the bay to the other for half an hour and over. With the help of the bridge it will take several minutes to do it.
