Latvia's Ventamonjaks turnover increased 22% in 2007

In 2007, the Ventspils-based chemical cargo terminal, joint-stock company Ventamonjaks turned over LVL 7,504,092, which is 22% more than in 2006, according to the company's statement published in the official government newspaper Latvijas vestnesis.
In 2006, the company operated with LVL 6,141,168 in turnover, writes LETA.
The company earned LVL 691,860 in profit last year, compared to LVL 871,711 in losses in 2006.
Ventamonjaks deals with the handling of chemical cargo.
The terminal complex Ventamonjaks consists of 22 reservoirs, with capacity ranging from 1,000 to 44,000 cubic meters. The total capacity of Ventamonjaks reservoir park is 200,000 cubic meters with overall handling capacity of 3,150,000 tons a year.
