An official at Dubai World said that the company is targeting new projects in six African countries as part of its investment drive on the continent, Gulf News reported.
He also mentioned that Dubai World's largest holding company manages and supervises a portfolio of businesses and projects for the Dubai government in one hundred cities throughout the world.
At the moment the company has invested in ten African countries, mainly in tourism with 20 projects.
It is important to mention that Dubai World Africa has invested $230 million in tourism projects in Rwanda and has port operations in Mozambique and Senegal and owns game parks in South Africa.
