The State Property Fund has sold the 99.567-percent stake in the Odesa Portside Plant, Odesa region, to the Nortima limited liability company, which is affiliated with businessman Ihor Kolomoiskyi, for UAH 5 billion.
The starting price for the enterprise was UAH 4 billion.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in July, the SPF announced a tender for the sale of the 99.567-percent stake in the Odesa Portside Plant.
The starting price was fixed at the level of UAH 4 billion.
On September 17, President Viktor Yuschenko suspended the privatization of the Odesa Portside Plant.
Besides, the Kyiv District Administrative Court satisfied the appeal of the largest producer of mineral fertilizers, Cherkasy Azot, suspended the sale of the enterprise.
On September 21, Azot recalled its appeal.
On September 22, the Kyiv District Administrative Court suspended the tender for the sale of the Odesa Portside Plant to satisfy the appeal of the DniproAzot.
However, the SPF has not cancelled the tender.
Yuschenko said he considers illegal the tender scheduled for September 29.
Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is sure of successful privatization of the enterprise.
