Azerbaijan and Romania to build LNG terminal in Constanta port
Azerbaijan and Romania intend to build a terminal for transshipment of liquefied gas in the Black Sea port of Constanta (Romania), Neftegazexpert cites Romanian President Traian Basescu as saying at a joint press conference held with Azerbaijans President Ilham Aliyev in Bucharest.
“Our cooperation in the sphere of energy is not limited to implementation of the Nabucco project. We also cooperate in creation of LNG terminal in Romanian port of Konstanta,” Traian Basescu said.
According to Traian Basescu, Romania will also help SOCAR to expand its activities in the EU. In particular, SOCAR stores crude in Constanta port for further transportation to other countries.
