Oil price up to $69.19 in London and to $70.82 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $0.12 on October 1 to $69.19 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude climbed $0.21 to $70.82 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
