A logistics center, the largest in the Eastern Europe will be built near Kiev, AutoConsalting reports. On October 1, 2009, an agreement was signed by ViDi Group and BLG Logistics Group on establishment of a joint company BLG ViDi Logistics. The construction is to cost some EUR 26.8 mln. The logistics terminal designed for 15,000 parking slots is to occupy 31.8 hectares. In perspective the terminal is to be expanded to 30,000 parking slots.
According to Vitaly Dzhurinsky, head of ViDi Group Board, “the potential of Ukraine’s automobile market is 1 mln cars per year and we are to be prepared for such a growth.”
The company plans to complete the construction by the end of 2013.
