In January-August 2009, throughput of Yeisk Seaport OJSC increased by 35.3%, year-on-year. InSeptember the company handled 146,139 tonnes of cargo.
According to the press center of Sovfracht-Sovmortrans Group, in September the company handled 53,400 tonnes of coal, 58,000 tonnes of wheat, almost 20,000 tonnes of mill offals and other agricultural goods.
The company also handled over 8,000 tonnes of molasses having pumped it directly from tank wagons to the holds of specialized tankers.
