NUTEP container throughput down 10.5% to 78,693 TEU in Jan-Sep 09
In January-September 2009, container throughput of NUTEP (Nodal Transporting and Forwarding Company of Novorossiysk) fell by 10.5%, y-o-y, to 78,693 TEU, press center of National Container Company states. In September, the terminal handled 10,737 TEU (+96.9%) including 5,468 TEU of export containers and 5,269 TEU of import containers. Loaded and empty containers ratio was 68.67% against 31.33% respectively.
In September the terminal handled 12 vessels with average turnover of 895 TEU per vessel.
