Volume of fuel oil delivery in “river-sea” tankers owned by Volga-Flot Tanker company (since 2009 managed by LLC Transport Assets Management, earlier referred to as UK Volga-Baltic company) in RPK Vysotsk “LUKOIL-II” (Leningrad region, the Gulf of Finland) in May-September 2009 amounted to 463.8 thousand tons. As per the operative schedule of vessels coming from Volgo-Balt system to the terminal available to PortNews IAA, maritime crude oil loading terminal in Vysotsk accepted 94 low-tonnage river vessels beginning summer navigation period 2009. It is planned to operate about 80 tons of fuel oil “from the river” till the end of navigation (early November).
As PortNews IAA informed earlier, on May 8 RPK Vysotsk “LUKOIL-II” operated first in 2009 navigation period “river-sea” vessels with oil products. In 2008, 450,000 tons of fuel oil was delivered in “river-sea” vessels to RPK Vysotsk to be exported within the summer navigation period LUKOIL-II”.
It is necessary to remind that “river-sea” tankers handling has been carried out at the crude oil loading terminal in Vysotsk since 2006. It was the fourth navigation within which LLC Volga-Flot Tanker tankers delivered oil products from NPZ Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez (part of OJSC LUKOIL) to the terminal.
