Port of Qingdao August throughput rises 4.7pc

The Port of Qingdao recorded a throughput of 27.1 million tonnes in August, up 4.7 per cent year on year and 0.47 per cent over July, Logistics Week reported.
The port's throughput of foreign trade cargo increased eight per cent to 19.3 million tonnes.
From January to August, Qingdao throughput grew 3.7 per cent year on year to 214 million tonnes. Foreign trade cargo throughput increased 4.4 per cent to 146 million tonnes.
