Tallink serviced 1.2% less passengers in September
Shipping company Tallink Grupp transported 555,512 passengers in September 2009 which is a 1.2% decrease as compared to the previous year, Postimees Online/LETA reports.
The number of transported trucks and trailers decreased by 14.9% in September 2009 while the number of cars transported grew by 21% in a year.
The number of passengers grew in the Latvia-Sweden and Estonia-Finland routes, by 20% and 8% respectively.
In the Finland-Sweden route the fall was 14%, in the Estonia-Sweden route 2% and Finland-Germany route 11%.
