Oil price up to $69.77 in London and to $71.69 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $2.57 on October 8, 2009 to $69.77 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude fell by $2.12 to $71.69 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
