Oil price up to $70 in London and to $71.77 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $0.23 on October 9, 2009 to $70.00 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude fell by $0.08 to $71.77 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
