Japanese shipping company Mitsui to merge with 2 ferry operators

Japan's MITSUI O.S.K. LINES LTD. will bring wholly owned KANSAI KISEN KAISHA and subsidiary DIAMOND FERRY CO. under a holding company through an equity transfer. The new holding company will be established on October 23 with capital of 100 million yen (US$1.11 million).
* It will be named FERRY SUNFLOWER LTD. and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
