Shipyard Zaliv JSC (Kerch) builds a supply-vessel hull for Ulstein shipyard (Norway)
Shipyard Zaliv JSC (Kerch) has built the hull of the supply vessel, designed to serve oil-and-gas plates for Ulstein shipyard (Norway), Zaliv’s press-service informed on the matter.
Length of the vessel is 120 m, width is 25 m, total weight of the steel hull is 4,064 tons. Shape of the inverse enables vessel to develop high speeds and provides it with better maneuvering under hard weather conditions. The vessel was handed over 3 months before the contract terms, informed,
Shipyard Zaliv JSC shall build 2 hulls for off-shore vessels for Norwegian Ulstein by June, 2010. Handing over of the first vessel to Ulstein took place in October, 2008. In January-June, 2009 Zaliv increased its production volumes almost twice to 63.9 million hryvnas as compared to the corresponding period of 2008. The shipyard is planning to increase its production volumes by 59.41% in 2009 which is 154.76 hryvnas more as compared to 2008.
Shipyard Zaliv JSC is specialized in repairing and building of various types of vessels. 37.94% of its shares belong to Private Limited Company Forth Asset (Great Britain).
