CMA CGM launches INTTRA in North America
CMA CGM is piloting INTTRA's Web-based eInvoice software with select customers in North America. The system helps carriers and customers to submit, receive, review and process invoices.
"Our customers in North America have welcomed this cost savings initiative," said Terry Grange, senior director, eCommerce, CMA CGM (America). "We anticipate that it will significantly help both our customers and CMA CGM cut down on the time and costs associated with the payment process."
The invoicing platform streamlines the submission, dispute resolution and payment processes for the ocean shipping industry. It eliminates many manual steps that limit accuracy and increase operational costs.
CMA CGM is the world's third largest container shipping company with a fleet of more than 360 vessels serving more than 400 ports.
INTTRA is a global provider of e-commerce to the ocean freight industry, standardizing shipping processes for more than 10 percent of global ocean container trade.
