“Volgoflot-5” motor vessel (“Volgoflot-tanker”, vessel’s home port - Nizhnii Novgorod), proceeding along Rybinsk-St.-Petersburg route with fuel oil cargo on board and “Okskii-62” motor vessel (Belozerskii port, vessel’s home port - Belozersk), proceeding Shala-Tver route with break-stone cargo on board collided in the Sheksna river, 11:47 p.m., October 13, 2009, informed Gormosspassluzhba with reference to DPR GBU Volgo-Balt.
“Volgoflot-5” motor vessel got a hull breach. “Okskii-62” motor vessel got a breach in an engine space, the space if flooded. Bilge waters leaked (30-50 m2).
Seven members of the crew were transported to “Volgoflot-5” (15-member crew) on board “Phoenix” motor vessel).
There are no victims found. A tow-boat “ОТА-092” left Cherepovets for the rescue operation.
