Volgo-Don-127 motor vessel and C-227 barge towed by OT-2429 collided in Rybinskoe water storage basin. The three water units are owned by Volga Shipping JSC. As per GMSKC of the Ministry of Transport the incident took place on October 14, 10:45 p.m.
No victims, oil spillage and threat of flooding occurred. The plating of Volgo-Don-127 motor vessel broke in its portside, no water leakage occurred, Splash board of C-227 barge cracked, towing rope was broken, left mooring separated. No damage was made to OT-2429 towboat. Puteiskii-401 steamboat set off for the rescue operations today 01:30 a.m.
