Emarat, United Arab Company for Chemicals Tankers sign agreement on transportation of petroleum products
Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat"Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" inked an agreement with United Arab Company for Chemicals Tankers, for the lease of the Motor Tanker (UACC Consensus) for the transportation of petroleum products. The value of the agreement was Dh17 million, for the period of one year starting on the 1st of October 2009.
Engineer Omar Abdullah Al Shamsi- Logistic & Trading Manager at EmaratEmarat signed the agreement on behalf of the Corporation. On behalf of the United Arab Company for Chemicals Tankers, the agreement was signed by the Company's CEO Ians Gronning, in the presence of Capt. Ahmad Zain Al Din, Manager Supply & Shipping, and Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Shuwaihi, Supply & Shipping Coordinator at EmaratEmarat, and Mathew Philip, the manager of BRS Ship broker- Dubai. In accordance with the agreement, the tanker will transport EmaratEmarat's needs of petroleum products between the ports of the Arab Gulf and the UAE. The vessel UACC Consensus was built in 2005, and its total capacity is 45,800 metric tons.
