Maksim Sokolov was appointed the Head of Committee for economic development, industrial policy and commerce of St.-Petersburg (KERPPiT) who earlier had held the post of the Head of Committee on investments and strategic projects (KISP). As per the city administration press-service, Alexei Chichkanov was appointed for the position of KISP’s head in its turn. Chichkanov held the post of General Director of DLA Piper Company before the new appointment; he had also held the position of Deputy Chairman of committee for state property (KUGI) of St.-Petersburg till June, 2008.
Sergei Bodrunov, ex Head of KERPPiT, is appointed City Governor’s counselor. As Valentina Matvienko, St.-Petersburg Governor, highlighted, ‘Bodrunov has properly fulfilled the task of anti-crisis manager vested upon him’. The Governor informed the Government members that Bodrunov received several offers from large units, including those from Moscow.
