VMTP OJSC cargo turnover passed 5 mln tons, late October 2009
Cargo turnover of Commercial port of Vladivostik OJSC (VMTP OJSC) has amounted to 5 milion 5 thousand tons by late October, 2009. The result passed the figure of the previous year by 35 thousand tons, informed company’s press-service with reference to the information provided by Sergei Lopunov, the Operational Director of VMTP OJSC. The main transhipment volume fell onto the export of charred coal and metal products (3 million 492 thousand tons). Annual transhipment plan is fulfilled by 125.8% to the date.

Commercial port of Vladivostik OJSC owns and operates the property complex of Vladivostok seaport of one of the largest seaports in the Far East of Russia. Commercial seaport of Vladivostik has 17 berths including specialized ones: container, passenger, automobile. VMTP OJSC is a part of transport group FESCO. VMTP OJSC cargo turnover amounted to 5.915 million tons in 2008. 95.6% of VMTP OJSC shares are owned by M-Port LLC (Moscow).
