The Big Port of St.-Petersburg changes inbound and outbound cargo shipment procedure
Inbound/outbound dangerous cargo shipment ex and to the territory of the Big Port of St.-Petersburg will be carried out on the basis of passes and written applications upon receipt of a written approval by the Russian Maritime Security Service FGU AMP BP SPb. The according order was given by Petr Parinov, captain of the Big Port of St.-Petersburg.
‘The organizations carrying out activity in the Big port of St.-Petersburg shall execute passes and written applications for inbound/outbound dangerous cargo ex/from territory of the port upon receipt of written approval the Russian Maritime Security Service FGU AMP BP SPb,’ said the regulation
The document was issued in accordance with Clause 4 of the Federal law of RF dated February 9, 2007 N 16-FZ ‘On transport security’ the requirements of point 5.1.2 ‘Necessary regulations of seaport BPSPb’ and ‘Instructions on dangerous cargo regulation under FGU AMP BP SPb’ and to provide security of the Big port of St.-Petersburg and control of inbound/outbound dangerous cargo trucking.
