Box throughput of Gdansk terminal (Poland) up to 117,775 TEU, Jan-Sep 2009

In 2009 box throughput of Deepwater Container Terminal Gdansk (Poland), put into operation early October, 2007, topped its 2008 figures. 117,775 TEUs were transhipped in January-September, 2009, Transport magazine informs.

The terminal operates vessels of Containerships, Team Lines, IMCL / BCL and Unifeeder, as well as Maersk Line to the date. Containers of such world operators as Hapag-Lloyd, NYK, Cosco, China Shipping, ZIM, Hyundai, MOL, «K» Line, UASC and Evergreen are handled in Gdansk with delivery/dispatch at the services of the enumerated feeder operators.
