OSC Board of directors accepts Vladimir Pakhomov’s resignation
Board of Directors of United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSC) accepted resignation of the Head of Corporation, Vladimir Pakhomov. As RBC reports with reference to the source in the board of directors, Vladimir Pakhomov submitted a resignation a week ago. The Board of Directors accepted the resignation upon its consideration, October 27, 2009. Roman Tratsenko, Chairman of Acting head of AEON Corporation Board of Directors, appointed OSC Acting Director.
As per the source, a new Head of OSC will be appointed after the according government regulation is signed, and then – a directive of Rosimucshestvo. It will probably take place late 2009 early 2010. As per the resource opinion, the position of OSC head will be taken by Roman Tratsenko.
United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK OJSC) with 100% federal ownership was set up in 2007. OSK comprises three daughter companies: Open JSC «Western Center of Shipbuilding» (St.-Petersburg), Open JSC «Northern Center of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair» (Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk region) and Open JSC «Far East Center of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair» (Vladivostok) as well as leading design bureaus under the designs of which nuclear, diesel submarines of various classes, vessels and ships making the basis maritime forces. In 2008, net loss of OSK under Russia Accounting standard totaled RUR 37.014 mln with revenue amounting to RUR 40.169 mln.
