Sea Port of St. Petersburg posts a 35.5% gain in container volumes, at 885 TEUs in Jan.-Feb.

In January-February 2010, total containers count by the Sea Port St. Petersburg OJSC (save the group’s Fourth Stevedoring Company, which has been building a new container terminal) rose by 35.5%, to 885 TEUs, including 877 TEUs by the First Stevedoring Company and 8 TEUs by the Second Stevedoring Company, PortNews IAA reported quoting a source in the Big Port of St. Petersburg.
 
In the reporting period the Fourth Stevedoring Company handled 1.576 TEUs.
 
The Sea Port of St. Petersburg Group of companies incorporates First Stevedoring Company, Second Stevedoring Company, Third Stevedoring Company, Fourth Stevedoring Company operating at the Big Port of St. Petersburg, Universal Transshipment Complex at the port of Ust-Luga, and other service companies.
