Futures contract prices on DS-7.10 diesel fuel fell 0.94% to 16.800 rubles a ton during yesterday’s trading session, the Saint Petersburg Exchange data said.
Diesel-futures trading volume amounted to 17.230 million rubles. The total number of closed deals was 8 / 1018 contracts. The total number of outstanding contracts at the closing of the trading session yesterday was 248 contracts, worth 4.17 million rubles.
Cortez Gas Oil Index gained 0.04% to 17.590 rubles a ton of diesel fuel.
The diesel-futures contracts trade is a joint project of the Stock Exchange Saint Petersburg and the RTS Group. DS - is the first Russian settlement futures contract, focused largely on the domestic market of oil products, quoted in rubles. The price of the contract is the index value of Cortez Gas oil by Cortez IAC.
The organizer of the DS-futures contract trades is the Exchange "Saint Petersburg", the clearing organization, RTS Clearing Center CJSC, the settlement organization, NGO RTS Settlement Chamber.
Trades are carried out on the basis of FORTS, the current trading and clearing market system, which allows realizing the principle of a single cash position with futures and options of the RTS’ derivatives market.
