There are several new warehouse facilities being constructed on the territory of 12,000 sq.m. of the Second Stevedoring Company for storage of general cargo.
The Sea Port of St. Petersburg has been running the port infrastructure upgrade program. The project includes construction of the high-tech specialized terminal complexes on the territory of stevedoring companies of the Universal Cargo Logistics Group, the Russian North-West. Overall, the projected throughput will surge to 20 million tons of cargo a year, and attract highly profitable freight traffic, the Group said.
The Sea Port of St. Petersburg Group, which is part of international Universal Cargo Logistics Holding, incorporates First Stevedore Company, Second Stevedoring Company, Third Stevedoring Company, Fourth Stevedoring Company, Universal Transshipment Complex at Ust-Luga Port, and several service companies.
