The Kota Kado, a Singapore-registered 3,080 TEU container ship operated by Pacific International Lines (PIL), ran aground on June 30 on departure from Nansha Port, China while en route to Singapore, Business Times Singapore reported.
PIL said that all the ship's personnel are safe and salvage operations are in progress.
The company is working with the authorities and salvors to look after the crew, cargo and ship.
