According to official statistics of the Big Port of St. Petersburg Authority, last year’s six-month freight flows via Primorsk were at 38.4 million tons.
Seaport of Primorsk is the largest port for exports of crude oil and petroleum products in the Russia’s North-West region. Its throughput in 2009 amounted to 79 million 157,2 tons of oil and diesel fuel. Ship calls at the port rose to 1,869 vessels (935 inbound and 934 outbound).
