Crude, petroleum products exports via Primorsk Port in Jan.-June at 35.78 million tons

Half-year volume of exported crude oil and petroleum products passing through the port of Primorsk (Leningrad Region) totaled 35 million 776.7 thousand tons, including 2.46 million tons of diesel fuel, the Port Authority’s provisional data said.
In June, crude volumes amounted to 6.1 million tons, diesel fuel - about 375.1 thousand tons.

According to official statistics of the Big Port of St. Petersburg Authority, last year’s six-month freight flows via Primorsk were at 38.4 million tons.

Seaport of Primorsk is the largest port for exports of crude oil and petroleum products in the Russia’s North-West region. Its throughput in 2009 amounted to 79 million 157,2 tons of oil and diesel fuel. Ship calls at the port rose to 1,869 vessels (935 inbound and 934 outbound).
