Vyborg Port operations may be suspended due to debts owed to RosMorPort

Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport has to file an action against Port of Vyborg (Vyborg, Leningrad region) as the company had not in spite of an earlier March 19th court ruling, left 9 Rosmorpot’s berths and had not paid money for the facilities leasing, RosMorPort statement said. The amount due to be paid out by Vyborgsky Port makes up 12.5 million rubles, the court said.

"The court ruling over the dispute was announced in March, but we have not had any proposals offered so far from the debtor on possible options for execution of the ruling. We were ready to consider their proposals on the installment plan, on the possible agreed schedule of payments", says Sergei Liadov, Acting Director of the Vyborg-Vysotsky branch of Rosmorport.

In this situation Rosmorport has to initiate enforcement proceedings against Vyborg Port LLC. The state-owned enterprise does not rule out that in the course of enforcement proceedings the Vyborg Port will be forced to cancel operations at its facilities.

Port of Vyborg LLC is part of the OMG Holding, which is currently in a state of insolvency.
