Independent Transport Company LLC, an agent of Universal Cargo Logistics Holding, has won in an open bidding (July 5th) for the purchase of 10,000 gondolas from Russian Railways sold as one lot, the UCL press office said.
ITC that had signed earlier an agency agreement with the UCLH’s assets was authorized to conduct the transaction in favor of the Holding.
Independent Transport Comp. was named the tender winner as it had met all the requirements of the auction. The winner is to repair the rail cars in a year over.
ITC is rated among the ten top largest Russian railroad operators. The company has all the necessary facilities for maintenance and repair of rail cars.
Therefore, in accordance with the agreement, ITC LLC will continue to provide services for UCL Holding carrying out repair and maintenance works of the acquired rail cars.
