Year-to-date the stevedore handled 1,514.900 tons of exports (+0.4%), including 711.700 tons of timber, 89.500 tons of nonferrous metals and 702,100 tons of coal.
The volume of imports reached 609.300 tons (-3.8%), of which alumina - 598.200 tons. Short sea trade volume rose to 257.700 tons (+47.7%), including coal volume, surged by 73.1% to 80.3 million tons. Vanino-Kholmsk ferry service transported 667.300 tons of cargo (+6.8% of the last year's level). In Jan-June Port Vanino handled 646 ships, including 300 ferries and 37,200 cars.
Half-year container count of the Port amounted to 6.200 TEUs.
In June 2010 the company’s throughput totaled 455.200 tons.
Vanino Commercial Sea Port is the largest stevedore operating at the Port of Vanino of the Khabarovsk Krai (Territory). The Port’s terminals handle inbound cargoes to the north-eastern regions of Russia and exports to Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, USA and other countries of Asia Pacific Region. Last year’s throughput of the company was reported at 6 million tons of cargo, a 9.4-percent decline y-o-y.
