The weekly service, which now turns around after it calls at Kingston in Jamaica will start calling Cartagena in Colombia and Puerto Cabello in Venezuela,
The extended service will provide a 14-day trip from New York to Puerto Cabello and a trip of eight days between Halifax and Cartagena.
The French carrier is deploying a homogeneous fleet of four vessels with a capacity of 1,300 20-foot equivalent units apiece in the service.
The new rotation of the Black Pearl service is: New York, Halifax, Kingston, Cartagena, Puerto Cabello, Kingston and back to New York.
