The 100th tanker exports oil from Prigorodnoye to S.Korea

The Sakhalin Energy Company’s 100th tanker left oil-loading terminal of Prigorodnoye (S. Sakhalin) laden with crude oil on July 10. The Gov. Farkhudinov tanker will deliver export crude oil of Sakhalin-2 project to the Republic of Korea, Interfax reports referring to the company press release.

"Since the beginning of the year-round shipments of oil (December 2008) in the Sakhalin-2 Project, the company has shipped more than 9 million tons of crude oil to the Asia-Pacific region such as Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines , USA and New Zealand" the company’s statement said.

Sakhalin Energy has exported crude oil since December 2008. Sakhalin Energy's stockholders are Gazprom (50%), Royal Dutch / Shell (27.5%), Mitsui (12.5%) and Mitsubishi (10%).
