Russia is ready to supply oil products to Iran, Sergey Shmatko, Russian Energy Minister stated following negotiations with Masoud Mir-Kazemi , Iranian Oil Minister, FINAM reports.
"We discussed investment cooperation issues. In case of commercial interest we would like to discuss projects for the supply of oil products in Iran ", - Sergey Shmatko reports.
Iran is one of the world's leading oil exporter, but there is not enough capacity for gasoline production in the country. The state imports about 100 thousand barrels of gasoline a day, what makes up about 40% of its total consumption.
