Santico, Chinese state-owned corporation to invest the construction of seaport on Lake Donuzlav (Crimea)

The representatives of the Chinese national government corporation Santico, specializing in investments in the construction of major transport infrastructure, studies the project of transfer of Evpatorian sea port on the lake Donuzlav. According to the General Directorate of Information Policy of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, the delegation expressed interest in participating in this project.

Senior Representative of Santico in the countries of CIS, Iskander Muratov at the meeting with the leadership of the Council of Ministers of Crimea noted that this project is interesting, "especially when you consider that our company produces more than 80% of all containers for the transport of goods by sea used in the world." He said the corporation Santico is also interested in the construction of roads, construction of railways, railway terminals, airports, seaports and marine container terminals.


Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Vasily Dzharty, for his part, expressed interest in the complex investments in the economy of the Crimea and suggested to representatives of the Chinese corporation to provide the Government of the Crimea with detailed set of proposals.
