Russian Govt to lift licensing of shipment and cargo handling on water transport

The licensing of cargo transportation and handling on water transport will be terminated in connection with the replacement of other forms of licensing regulation, the government press service said. The federal draft law "On licensing of certain activities” is to be presented by Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina at a meeting of the Russian Government today.

The bill aims at improving the licensing system as a form of state regulation of economic activities in the Russian Federation and reduces administrative restrictions in business related to licensing.
